Deltek

TBS, LLC welcomes Eric Brown, 20 year software executive, industry veteran and co-founder of Deltek® to its team.

McLean, VA based TBS, provider of cloud hosting for Deltek® software products, is delighted to welcome the newest member of their team, Eric Brown, as Vice President.

Brown comes to TBS from Deltek where he was one of the 1983 Co-founders. During his 23-year tenure Brown served as a senior executive and strategic and technical leader for the project-based accounting software developer.

Brown joins the company as it continues to refine its cloud hosting capabilities, enabling TBS hosting clients to derive even greater value from their Deltek software products. He credits TBS owners Joe Jezior and Jay Ethridge with being visionary in this arena and sees his move to TBS as a greenfield opportunity to help shape the future of Cloud based software solutions.

“I believe we’re at an inflection point in this industry with respect to cloud and SaaS solutions. Our new offerings will be both strategic and offensive, and tactical and defensive. In the end they will elevate TBS over other hosting providers by giving users the critical information they need to conduct their business more effectively, and will attract companies that would not otherwise look to hosting in the traditional sense/approach”.

In his role as Vice President, Brown’s initial focus will be on developing TBS’s capabilities in the areas of integration and managed report offerings. “By going beyond pure hosting we can transform what has been compound, linear growth into exponential growth – both for TBS and the industry as a whole” says Brown.

TBS provides Cloud hosting for Deltek® software products. More than 400 companies host their Deltek software with TBS and more than 16,000 individuals securely access the TBS servers every day. TBS is SAS 70 Type II audit compliant, and is secured by two biometrically protected class-A data centers offering access through SSL or AES 256 encryption and constant offsite backup and encryption.
