TBS LLC Expands Cloud Software Suite for Deltek with ICE – Integrated Cloud Exchange.

February 14, 2011 – Continuing its aggressive drive to develop and bring to market the first suite of Cloud-based tools to enhance Deltek delivery, today Technology and Business Solutions LLC of McLean, Virginia launched its data integration software platform called I.C.E. – Integrated Cloud Exchange.

“With ICE, we give direct control over the migration and integration of corporate accounting data in and out of Deltek to those who care the most – CFOs, Accounting and HR Managers and their staff,” says Jay Ethridge, TBS Chief Executive Officer and Principal.

Through the TBS ICE platform the migration of corporate data into Deltek GCS Premier®, Costpoint®, Vision® and Time & Expense and then the synchronization of this data with third-party Accounting, HR and CRM software like QuickBooks, PeopleSoft or SalesForce are handled securely in the TBS Enterprise Cloud. The TBS cloud is the largest, most secure (SSL, AES 256 data encryption) hosting environment for Deltek products, providing the most robust audit-compliant platform available, SAS 70 Type II, MA 201, SOX.

“Until today, these users have had to rely upon external data consultants to integrate their Deltek data with their other corporate systems,” says Joe Jezior, TBS Chief Operating Officer and Principal. “With TBS ICE we’ve transformed this traditionally cumbersome and expensive process from months to days and from tens of thousands of dollars to just a fraction of this.”

For those businesses unable to afford data consultants, internal IT staff or programmers are typically relied upon to create complicated and custom database queries to integrate data between two different software packages. Such third-party handling invalidates regulatory audit compliance.

Built upon TBS’s Service Oriented Architecture, ICE may be configured, deployed and connected in just a matter of days. Once set, ICE is fully forward-compatible, so as software versions connected by the cloud exchange advance ICE does so too automatically. Key features include: Authorized Staff Access any time, any where direct from the TBS Enterprise Cloud; On-Demand Integration with the click of a button; “Set it and forget it” Functionality with automatic integrations per regularly designated intervals; and Real-Time Audit Reports for immediate traceability.

The launch of TBS ICE follows the well-received release of Claritas by TBS in October of 2010. Claritas delivers posted, unposted, and unprocessed Deltek accounting data through tailored modules for Project Managers, Financial Managers and C-level leaders. Claritas modules feature smart dashboards, graphical “stoplights,” trend monitoring, and fraud alerts.

Additional cloud-based software is in the development pipeline for TBS, with releases planned for July and October of 2011. “We are absolutely committed to making sure our clients get the most out of their Deltek solutions,” says Mr. Jezior.

Minority-owned TBS provides Cloud hosting for Deltek® software products. More than 400 companies host their Deltek software with TBS and more than 20,000 individuals securely access the TBS servers every day. TBS is SAS 70 Type II audit compliant, and is secured by two biometrically protected class-A data centers offering access through SSL and AES 256 encryption and constant offsite backup.
