On Tuesday, May 25, 2010, the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce GovConNet will host Brigadier General, U.S. Army (Ret.) Edward M. Harrington, Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army (Procurement) to discuss in-sourcing and procurement forecasts. Mr. Harrington develops, disseminates, and ensures the execution of Federal, Defense, and Army policies and procedures for acquisition, procurement, and related business practices and business systems solutions for installation procurement and contingency contracting supporting the procurement of supplies, commodities, services, construction and reconstruction, and humanitarian assistance worldwide.
